The speaker will be Tracey Feldman, representing the Occupational Therapy Training Program - NorCal (OTTP-NorCal).  The website for the organization indicates that they "provide mental health services to youth, ages 3-24, who reside in Northern California," with the youth being referred to them through a variety of sources, including their schools and families themselves.

Club Meeting -- Immigration Action Network

The speaker will be Immigration Action Network Executive Director, Susun Kim, Esq., 
 
The presentation will include an overview of their work, how they are helping our neighbors, and will focus on learning about the dilemmas that asylum and immigration seekers are facing here in our Contra Costa community. 
 
She will discuss the SAFE Center, a project of the Immigrant Action Network to provide inclusion and services to the community.

Club meeting -- Monument Crisis Center

Mary Tressel, who handles Donor Relations for the Monument Crisis Center (MCC), and Alexis Stanley, MCC's Community Engagement Coordinator, will give an ”Update on MCC and How to Get Involved."  Mary's presentation will focus on the current services offered by MCC and an update on their facility expansion.  Alexis will focus on ways to get involved.

Making a Difference!

The Kiwanis Club of Moraga Valley donates money and volunteers time to support local organizations that help children and families.  The club's major fundraisers each year are the selling of See's Candy during the holiday season and supporting the Town's July 4th and Pear & Wine Festival events.
