The speaker is scheduled to be Victoria Johnston, Director of Philanthropy for Youth Homes. Her presentation will be entitled “Youth Homes: Community Based Services.”
The services of Youth Homes are provided via a skilled team of clinicians and counselors, seeking to help underserved youth and young adults, 90% of whom are struggling with unresolved trauma due to experience with or exposure to violence, emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse or neglect. |

The speaker will be Uri Eliahu, President of ENGEO Geotechnical Consultants. His presentation will be entitled “Geologic Hazard Abatement Districts (GHADs), an Introduction and Their Importance to California Communities, Including Moraga and Orinda.”
He will brief the Club on the purpose, characteristics and benefits of a GHAD for California communities
and answer questions. Moraga’s GHAD currently includes about 150 acres and is expected to grow to about 500 acres over the next few years. |
