The speaker program will focus on the Berkeley-based "Young Musicians Choral Orchestra" (YMCO), whose three primary purposes are to provide year-around comprehensive music training, academic tutoring, and personal growth support to disadvantaged 9 to 18 years old youth in the East Bay. A primary goal is to get each graduate into college. The presenter will be YMCO's President and Artistic Director, Geechi Taylor, a former graduate of YMCO's predecessor, the Young Musicians Program at UC Berkeley. |

Uri Eliahu, President of ENGEO Geotechnical Consultants, will give a talk titled "Geologic Hazard Abatement Districts (GHADs), an Introduction and Their Importance to California Communities, Including Moraga and Orinda."
ENGEO manages Moraga's Geologic Hazard Abatement District (GHAD). The GHAD is a special district of permanent open space within the town but is managed independently. Moraga's GHAD currently totals about 150 acres and is expected to grow to about 500 acres over the next few years. GHAD's are governed by California law and number 50 across the state.
